Jill Scott, the Grammy Award winning R&B singer, says one of the reasons she split from her ex-husband was that he stopped eating her food. Scott, who releases her fourth studio album ‘The Light of the Sun’ Today, said her husband would leave specially prepared food uneaten for days, reports the UK’s Guardian newspaper.

Scott married DJ and graphic artist Lyzel Williams in 2001 during a private ceremony in Hawaii. However, after six years of marriage the couple divorced in 2007. During a candid interview, the singer revealed, “One of the reasons my ex-husband and I broke up is that he stopped eating my food. He was pissed (off) for other reasons, but the best way to show me was by leaving what I’d made for him uneaten for days on the kitchen counter. It was a smack in the face”. Shortly after the divorce, Scott shared a romantic on-stage kiss with her drummer Lil John Roberts during a concert at New York’s Carnegie Hall. The couple later announced their engagement and welcomed their first child ‘Jett Hamilton Roberts’ in April 2009. The singer announced the couple had split in June of that year.

What’s funny about this thing to me is that whilst hearing the hens clucking on twitter about this topic, many women were talking about how absolutely disrepectful it was for a man not to eat the food prepared for him and that if the man had something to say, he shouldn’t have been a bytch about it. Then there were other women… of the younger variety, who giggled about the whole thing because they proclaimed that they knew they couldn’t cook well but that if a man loved her he should eat it anyway.

..to which most of the men answered with: hell nawl.

And then there were these simple heffas…. very young and simple, who explained that they didn’t need to know how to cook because they were pretty and knew tricks in the bed.

Yeah.

ANYWAY….. i don’t even want to address those simple heffaz because little do they know that these days? Every woman is pretty much putting a penis in her mouth. That’s not new. That’s not SPECIAL. ABC sources tell TMZ … Brown performed and was interviewed by Robin Roberts live from the Times Square studio when she began asking about the infamous incident.

Brown tried to redirect the questions to focus on his album — but Roberts continued to ask about Brown’s legal issues stemming from the Rihanna incident.

We’re told after the interview, Brown freaked out, storming into his dressing room and screaming so loud, the people in hair and makeup became alarmed and called security.

We’re told Brown was out of control, and one source present tells us he smashed a window in his dressing room, and the glass shattered and some shards fell onto 43rd and Broadway. ABC security tells TMZ … the window was shattered with a chair.

We’re told by the time security rushed the area, Brown had ripped off his shirt and left the building, blowing off another performance he was supposed to do for the ABC website.

And sources say … on his way out of the building, Brown confronted a segment producer, got in his face and stared him down. People from the show got in between Chris and the producer to diffuse the situation.

Remember — Brown is on probation for the felony beating and he’s required to obey all laws.

Her initial foray, during this summer’s Rock the Bells mini-tour, was a bit shaky, with some fans vocally displeased at how Hill was reimagining her classics live and others wondering if her once pristine voice hasn’t aged well. When she announced a full batch of tour dates, we figured we’d be in for some more drama sooner or later. It turned out to be sooner: On the first stop of the tour, at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg last night, doors were at 8 p.m. but Hill didn’t show up until midnight, and the crowd didn’t take it so well. If Hill had followed the little tirade with an hour and a half of faithful recreations of her classic tunes, it would have been a blip on the radar.
