Well his uncle did not approve of what he saw on that page and he not only kicked his nephew OFF Facebook, but made him record quite the going away performance as he got his whole ass whooped, AND made the kid tell everyone he was lying.

You make a really good point about mandated reporting. I'm an educator and a lot of my co-workers won't add students on their facebook for that reason alone. If for any reason we think a child may possibly be in danger MUST be reported or we lose our jobs if anyone finds out we knew and didn't do anything. To someone who does think that a well-deserved ass whoppin is assault (and there are a lot out there), may take this video pretty sensitively. This video is already all over the internet so it may eventually make it to the hands of one his teacher, then the uncle could be in trouble. It was only released today so who knows how far this vid will go.

I'm torn on this, I truly am. One side of me realizes that a good ass whooping is the cure for many an ailments these little half raised children running around seem to suffer from. I can recall my uncle showing me in the bible where it says "You will beat him with the rod, and deliver his soul from hell" and wondering what happened to that, ESPECIALLY in the black community.
But then the other half is saying that this was done in a manner to humiliate and emasculate the boy. As someone who got reported by a lil punk azz bytch who was jealous of me and my girl, I can testify from the words of the child services folks and the one time. As long as there are no marks you cool as a breeze. Do they recommend whoopings? No, but no marks and you all good. In my case especially tho they knew almost immediately this wasn't a case of child abuse they just had to go through the process. I whooped my g/f's son twice in 2 years, twice. 5 licks each time. Not nan mark left on him, and guess what? I got not one second of jail time, never had to go to the station etc. This is not assault/abuse. And unless someone wants to be ignant about it uncle should be fine. But more of these kids today need they butts whooped, and I don't mean what is allowable as a whoopin today, I mean the old school whoopins I use to get that straightened my butt up with the quickness.

Supposedly, Time Out should have produced people who had more empathy, were kinder, thought more about their actions than those kids that got the evil whuppins and *gasp* DISCIPLINE from their parents. But all I see are a bunch of grown, spoiled-ass brats who want rewards and praise for breathing in and out, who have entitlement complexes the size of Brazil, and who have no work ethic to speak of and think they're gonna live off their parents for as long as they can if not as long as they live. I really fear for those folks in about 10 to 30 years when their parents die off and any money they managed to inherit gets pissed away. They have few life skills.

The hard, REAL truth is that our young men and boys are being mowed down like grass. Literally. The obituaries in my area are filled with young Black men and boys being shot over……………literally, NOTHING. There were a couple of rumbles in my neighborhood that were stopped in their tracks by sheer luck, really. A couple of boys' lives were, literally, saved. And both of those boys had fathers who managed to intervene. And neither of those boys were even aware of the beef that had gotten started……..both of them are kept pretty close to home by their parents, NOT roaming the streets like the boys who were bent on fighting them. The point I'm trying to make is that these fights and grudges–and subsequent killings–start over nothing. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

Whoooo just sent this to my cousin who had a similar inciden….. Her DAUGHTER was internet thugging…. the whole "eff them boiz frum________" my daughter decides to show me what my cousin's kid was writing on her "wall." I called my cousin and told her what her kid was doing…… She comes to our house to use my computer to look for herself (yeah she bought her kid a cell phone with internet access, but claims she can't afford it at home) and both my daughter and her daughter had the nerve to call me MESSY…… for telling her mother. I.BEAT.THE.HELL.OUTTA.THE.BOTH.OF.THEM. I beat mine for thinking that it was ok to cover for her and I beat her daughter for being stupid. Well we find out that the reason that my cousin's daughter posted that is because she was attempting to "initiate" herself into a rival gang. The principal told her mother that the word at the school was that if she did not take that post down in two days she would be jumped or she would have gotten "thatted down" meaning that all of the boys in the gang she "dissed" would forcibly take her innocence if she had any.
And to any one willing to prosecute this Man for being a MAN and stepping up to the plate, they need to re-examine their life space.

I am deeply disturbed and troubled by the recent video that we all have viewed. A young man was beaten by his uncle because of some improper use of facebook. While I do not condone what the nephew may have wrote, I do not believe the uncle’s form of discipline was justified. Yes, I am well aware of what the Bible says, since most of you will refer to this in your rebuttal. “ Spare the rod, and spoil the child.” Yes, we all know it. If our parents did not whip us we would not be where we are at today. Incarcerated, welfared, and parents of many fatherless children. Ooops did I just write that? **gasps** But its true, a whipping does not necessarily place a child on the right track in life. It is stern discipline, a firm household, and devoted parents. In my opinion, a whipping just says I’m upset, and I’m incapable of using words right now. All characteristics which were displayed in this video.
Let’s examine. The uncle demands the child informs the facebook world everything he wrote was not true. Which is embarrassing but is warranted, why you ask? The child should let his friends know that he is not that person in which he portrayed. I think the lesson was learned there however we now must hit the child. I need to hit you because??? That is where I draw the blank. You see the video (while I do exactly agree)taught a lesson. The boy needed to be disciplined for his actions. He embarrassed family and gave the world an inaccurate reflection on how he was raised. Therefore, you, the child get embarrassed. I believe that was authenticated in the video.
However, my problem is, the uncle had some issues. Obviously he was under some form of narcotics or alcohol or both . He was barely dressed, and the constant use of profane words did not nothing but degrade the young man. To steal a line from my friend, all this video did was make the young man harden and ultimately he will get worse. Why? He was embarrassed! This child must fight because we all know he will be picked on. Who wants to be the laughing stock?
