I don’t know where your stats come from, but you’ve locked onto one of my pet peeves – making women responsible for everything that’s wrong, including the behavior of other people’s kids. Your conclusion bears no relation to the situation, but stay with me, I’m coming back.

She was wrong; he was wrong; and he stood before God and several witnesses and made promises he apparently did not keep. She didn’t.

Apparently he was living two separate lives; a wife on the east coast from whom he was separated, and his girlfriend on the west coast, which is where he’s headquartered. According to people at Oracle, it was the girlfriend they saw, not the wife because he told them all he was divorced. It’s one thing to lie to your mistress about your situation, but he carried the lie throughout his personal and professional lives. It explains why they were able to take such lavish vacations out in the open, but it begs the question: if he reconciled with his wife in 2008, why is it he took his mistress to the INAUGURAL? Maybe he felt with the number of people there, no one would notice him. But some of the wife’s friends did.

The real question is what did the wife know and when did she find out, because this guy was living with Ya’V (or whatever her name is). They purchased property together, were living openly together.

Recap: he starts an affair (just because something is offered doesn’t mean you have to accept. over and over.); leaves his wife; begins a new life with his mistress (who doesn’t know he hasn’t really divorced, and neither do his friends/co-workers); keeps it going until SOMETHING makes him go back to his wife. The only real question is what was that something….it seems he had the intention of keeping all his options open with a woman on both coasts.

If this man is so bytchmade that his adolescent behavior and unwillingness to keep a promise has to be blamed on a woman, he has no business attempting to engage in any adult endeavor. Further, if I continue follow your flawed logic, I would be interested in anyone other than a black man because frankly, every time I’ve been hurt it was by a brotha. The interracial gorge has been crossed by both men and women, so your argument doesn’t hold water.

You forgot the amount of black women who think being “gangsta/real/ghetto fabulous” is a GOOD thing. Personally when I see gold fronts, bad weaves and 5 inch long acrylics and hear things like “heeey guuuurrrrrrl! s’just my bebedaddy” it makes it reeeeally hard to look past the cover and read the book.

He was wrong to be in a marriage an cheating no doubt about it. She was wrong for approaching and sleeping with a known married man. The unknown is the wife’s side of this. They are indeed still together.

1. As side-hoe, you get the financial benefits of being with a man without the responsibilities of being a wife. Take the cash, the gifts, the trips, know your damn place and keep your mouth shut. You took up with a married man; stop acting entitled and wounded.

2. Even if he did leave his wife and marry her, does she think she’ll be his One and Only? She’d be an even dumber broad than I originally thought.

I do not condone extra-martial relationships (unless both husband and wife mutually agreed to an open marriage…which I doubt was the case here). However, if you’re going to cheat, cheat SMART!
