(CNN) — Chicago, Illinois, police arrested a man Monday in connection with the killing of three relatives of singer-actress Jennifer Hudson, a police spokesman said.
Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, were found shot to death in their South Side Chicago home. The body of her nephew, 7-year-old Julian King, was found three days later in an abandoned SUV on Chicago’s West Side.
Police later found a handgun near the vehicle.
Detectives served arrest warrants on Balfour on Monday afternoon, said Chicago police spokeswoman Monique Bond.
But Momma Balfour has been on the news looking maaaaad angry as she adamantly defended her baby.
Michele Davis-Balfour, Balfour’s mother, passionately defended her son Monday to reporters. She said that at least one of the witnesses that police used to build a case against Balfour was lying.
“My son did not do this. I am sick of this. They need to focus on somebody else,” Davis-Balfour said.
She said Balfour has an alibi: He was with one of his three girlfriends the night of the slaying.
“He was with Diana that night and with Kate in the morning,” she said.
If it is found beyond a reasonable doubt that ol boy did in fact murder those two adults and that precious little boy, what do you think should happen to him?

When he was first arrested, she even called the Nancy Grace show saying that Jason Hudson was selling drugs from the hous. Now I don’t know about how true any of that is, but when I heard about these folks being executed like that I immediately thought it must be drug-related. Whatever went down, I just have a feeling that this critter was somehow involved.

Yeah, I was taken to Emergency for them to take the shafts out of my torso. I protested because the hospital was capable of charging me (as it turns out that’s exactly what happen) for something that I could do myself. Then they took me to the jail cell where the cops proceeded to taunt me. I grinned at them and then I started throwing myself against the cell door until the desk sergeant asked me to stop. “Then tell those Brown Shirt mofos to get the fvck out of my sight.” And then he scattered them. No different from bangers, let me tell you.

I don’t think he did it. None of these news articles have stated the grounds and evidence found linking him to the murders. I do believe he knows more than he is willing to admit. Additionally, I read that the murdered brother dibbled and dabbled in the drug game and was arrested some years back. Aint no telling if the murders were behind his crooked behavior as well.
