Babi's Favorite – Fall Show Lineup

by OHN Staff on September 22, 2008

in Just Ignant

Now that the kids have settled into their routine of school and suches, it’s time for all the fall shows to start. One that is starting this eveing is Heroes: Season 3. After the dissapointing second season, I shouldn’t be excited that this show is returning but dammit… I AM. All I ask, is that they get rid of Sylar’s azz in the first episode, cause I am tired of this villian. He is just WAY too evil and it tires my azz out just watching him be so evil. I mean COME ON…DIE already.

TONITE: NBC – 8pm [pre-show countdown] 9pm-11pm EST – Who’s with me??

Another GREAT show that is returning on October 1st is Pushing Daisies. This “campy” show just makes me smile and?rediculously cute. It’s a grown up fairytale?that is extremly witty and just plane funny. Emerson Cod the onery detective, played by Chi McBride, KILLS me…especially in episode 6 named “b---hes”, where he gets tied up by a hot, black, english chick and he is struggling with getting free and being seriously turned on by his situtation. Hell, I was turned on by his situation. :: rawr ::

I am glad to see this show come back on the air. It is one of a kind and has a very unique storyline, which is hard to find these days.

WED, OCTOBER 1:?ABC – 8pm EST

What’s hot on your couch ticket this fall?

OK last season of Heroes was SO bad, that I could care less about watching it this time around.

Im not much of a tv person, but this season I can see myself making time to watch a few shows like:

- Torchwood(Dr. WHo SPin-off) Even though they killed off my big boobed japanese gilrfriend last season, this show is a f--gin must in our house. and Gwen could get it.

- Pushing Dasies: Ever since Chi Mcbride’s character said:”I was in proximity b---h!” I have been down for this show. The lil blonde with the tits could get it

- CSI- Lawrence fishburne taking over as the lead investigator? a must. And catherine’s old ass could get it.

- CSI Miami – Miami, crime and tiddys. The whole female cast could get it.

- Smallville – Cuz i’m a dork, lex luthor is my hero, and Lana could get it.

- Fringe – even though this show has no one on it that coulld get it, I’m digging it.

i was all excited about prison break, but since the first 2hr premier, i have been less than impressed. i’m waiting to see what happens on the last season of ER…

House
The Office

That’s about it. I watched Fringe and I can’t decide if I like it yet. That stealin pituitaries thing is too much WFS for this WF.

Whhhat? No Desperate Housewives fans? 24? 90210? ::giggles::

I only have of a handful of telelvision shows that I watch. I peeped out the Emmys last night and realized that I wasn’t familiar with 99/9% of the shows that were nominated.

House!!! that’s about all I watch faithfully…

I’ll catch Law and Order SVU sometimes or the NY CSI so I can drool over my future husband Hill Harper…

Other than that…I don’t watch much TV regularly like that…

I’ll be watching Investigation Discovery most evenings…

House..Bones..CSI (but only cuz of the Fish) Fringe is hot,Heroes is not. i tried watching Heroes, but it was way to convoluted of a plot for me. Feudal Japan? really?.

I don’t watch too much network TV but I love these shows.
Entourage (HBO)
Brothers & Sisters (ABC)
Dexter (Showtime)

I am not even sure that I’m going to bother to watch Heroes tonight. Season 2 totally let me without a care for any of them, and I haven’t missed it. We’ll see.

Pushing Daisies is a really cute show, but I can see myself losing interest in it quickly. I’m going to need the two main characters to actually get to touch each other like real soon.

Other than Doctor Who and Torchwood, House is the only show I can’t miss. I wonder I just have a fetish for jerks. I’m going to have to ask Dr. Wanna about that.

I may peek at Law and Order SVU and Private Practice every once in a while. Oh and I am digging the new shows Fringe and True Blood. Let’see how long they hold my attention.

10 Wanna September 22, 2008 at 11:03 am

Yeah Minista, that was a really bad time to try to check out Heroes.

11 Can't Take It September 22, 2008 at 11:08 am

My attention span is horrible. The only television shows that I will be watching every week is football and Criminal Intent(and that’s only cause of Goren. His chubby azz could still get it). Something about committing myself to watch a show every week makes me…not do it.

12 DJ Fusion/FuseBox Radio September 22, 2008 at 11:14 am

CSI & Laurence Fishburne = winner

Besides that, I don’t know much about the fall season to get amped about (Law and Order SVU, Top Chef and Dexter is probably the only regular thing I check out – Project Runway used to get it now it’s boring as hell and I can catch Tyra Banks’ crazy ass on ANTM during those weekend marathon thingies).

Lately, most regular and cable TV gets to boring me and I’ll rather watch Cartoon Network (Adventures of Flapjack is SLAMMING) and Adult Swim after a long day at the 9 to 5 and music lab.

13 babfaced assassin September 22, 2008 at 11:24 am

my shows are

14 Illbedamn aka Slaus September 22, 2008 at 11:26 am

I dont know HOW I forgot about True Blood.

GOing to be a cruddy fall season though with no Dr. WHo. im pretty f--gin bummed about that ish.

15 Bef September 22, 2008 at 11:29 am

you know what I forgot…Grey’s Anatomy!!!! damn how’d I forget that…

oh and Young and the Restless lmao…I watch that on soapnet at night so that counts in my primetime lineup dammit!!!!!

16 Truth Hurts September 22, 2008 at 11:31 am

I love Samantha Who with Christina Applegate! Very funny show.

17 Leslie September 22, 2008 at 11:37 am

Can’t believe y’all are sleepin on The Office. Brilliant, intelligent humor.

18 Illbedamn aka Slaus September 22, 2008 at 11:55 am

I have never watched the Office.

just like I have never seen an episode of Seinfeld.

19 Wanna September 22, 2008 at 11:56 am

Every once in a while I try to watch Grey’s Anatomy too, mostly in support of sista writer Shonda and that fact it had, at one time, THREE black doctors. But I find that I wish Meredith would have stayed drowned, I miss Burke, McDreamy’s character bores me, I want to slap Dizzy Izzy and Boy George makes me want to spit. The only things I like about the show are Chief and Dr. Bailey. I used to like the dynamic between Meredith and McSteamy, but she left and got her own show …

20 Illbedamn aka Slaus September 22, 2008 at 12:14 pm

The more I watch it, Grey’s anatomy feels like such a white woman’s show, it’s ridiculous.

My respect for women dwindles with every line that come sout of the mouth of the Meredith character.

her sister could get it tho.

but the only reason I supported the show was because it was a show written by a black person that didn’t feel the need to operate like a stereotypical black show.

21 Leslie September 22, 2008 at 12:15 pm

@Slaus I have never seen Seinfeld either. The Office is completely different humor. It is actually funny, for example.

22 Truth Hurts September 22, 2008 at 12:21 pm

anyone watch 30 rock?

23 Illbedamn aka Slaus September 22, 2008 at 12:22 pm

@ truth – nawl because im just gonna sit there slapping my nekkit fat azz on the screen everytime Tina fey comes on the screen.

And I think only Myself, Wanna, and Jaila are some Ghost Hunters Fanatics.

24 Q September 22, 2008 at 12:24 pm

Everyone that’s previewed Heroes this season say that it makes up for that dumb s--ttery last season, me and my girls have a text fest as the show goes on with possible calls ONLY when the commercials are going

25 Q September 22, 2008 at 12:25 pm

OOOH and the office! I own it in the OG, I watch it and the Chilean Version online its it’s own ridiculosity as it IS still the office with South American crazy people twist!

26 babykiki September 22, 2008 at 12:56 pm

The Slauses got me on to Dr. Who & Torchwood (sexy azz, geeky azz show), I do Netflix those two. LOVE THEM!

Fishburn on CSI!! – ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT THAT! Awwww shuckyducky!

Regarding the second season of Heroes…yeah, it really blowed and the producer knew it.

I am hoping that they are coming with better.

27 Wanna September 22, 2008 at 12:59 pm

Leslie, I’ve heard good things about The Office. Perhaps one day I’ll go back and check it out. Not this season though, I barely have time enough to look at the shows I already watch and my poor DVR stays full.

28 babykiki September 22, 2008 at 1:04 pm

@Wanna, your DVR stays full becuase of the boys…

29 Slausnificent September 22, 2008 at 1:19 pm
